Join the Cast of La Bayadère with the Dallas based youth touring company, American Classical Ballet!

Are you ready to be a part of something special? An audition will take place on March 15 for the newly formed American Classical Ballet's production of La Bayadère! This full-length, breathtaking ballet is brimming with opportunities for dancers of all abilities, with a variety of roles that will allow you to showcase your talent in a truly unforgettable performance.

From the mystical Kingdom of the Shades to the passionate drama of the stage, this production offers an extraordinary experience for all involved. Whether you're looking to perform in a non-dancing role, a non-pointe role, or a pointe role, there's a place for you in this remarkable show.​

 

A rehearsal schedule will be provided at a later date, however the planned times for rehearsals are listed below:
Saturday afternoons

• Friday evenings

• Sunday afternoons

• Thursdays 12-2:00 if available during day hours

We are committed to doing our best to accommodate everyone's schedules, so please share your preferred availability when you register for the audition. This is your chance to be part of a magical experience!

 

How to Audition:
Click the link above to register for the audition and provide your availability for rehearsals. We can’t wait to see you there and are excited to bring this incredible production to life again with your help! Please arrive early enough to be warm. Studios will be open a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the audition. ​​​

Participation Fees:

• Acting Roles: $200

• Non-Pointe Roles: $280

• Pointe Roles: $395

All or majority of rehearsals will take place at TDC’s Frisco Studios. As always we will do our best to work around dancer events and pre-scheduled competitions to find optimal rehearsal time for everyone.  We are planning to have occasional rehearsals on Friday evenings 5:00-7:00pm, Saturday afternoons (and some week-days 12-2pm for those who have availability). Rehearsals will occur more frequently as we approach the show dates.

 

Dancers can expect to have La Bayadere rehearsals be their primary focus during the week of May 11 when we will be holding run-throughs of the ballet. 

 

Required Theatre time includes:

May 23,  12p - 9pm  

May 24,  10a - 9:30p
