TDC's Classical Training Program is beginning preparations for its annual end of the year full-length production! This year we will be presenting the full length Swan Lake! We are thrilled to be opening this amazing opportunity to the public to dance alongside the dancers of TDC. We hope to see you there!!!

Location: The Dallas Conservatory's Frisco Studios

6106 Frisco Square Blvd. Frisco, TX 75034

Please arrive early enough to be warm. Studios will be open a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the audition. ​​

 

Roles to audition for include:

 

Pointe roles:

Swans, Peasant, Aristocrats, Princesses

​

Character & other dancing roles:

Polish, Hungarian, Russian, Neapolitan

​

Non-dancing roles: 

Noble Suite, Court

​

Casting/roles will be dependent on turnout for the audition.

​

Swan Lake participation Fees:

• Pointe roles $550 

• Other dancing roles:  $475 

• Non-dancing roles:  $295

Performances are at the Latino Cultural Center on the following dates: 

May 31, 2024 - 7:30pm

June 1, 2024 - 2:00pm

All or majority of rehearsals will take place at TDC’s Frisco Studios. As always we will do our best to work around dancer events and pre-scheduled competitions to find optimal rehearsal time for everyone.  We are planning to have occasional rehearsals on Friday evenings 5:00-7:00pm, Saturday afternoons (and some week-days 12-2pm for those who have availability). Rehearsals will occur more frequently as we approach the show dates.

 

Dancers can expect to have Swan Lake rehearsals be their primary focus the full week of May 24 - June 1st when we will be holding run-throughs of the ballet.

 

Required Theatre time includes:

May 30,  12p - 9pm  

May 31,  10a - 9:30p

June 1,   11am - 5pm
